My FAQ

I’ve seen others bloggers who have an FAQ and I thought ‘why not me’, so here it is. If you have a question you’d like answered here, post it in the comments.

  • Q. Where can I find more information about you?
    • A. I recently added a whole ‘about me’ section. Check it out and find out about me as much as I’ll tell. Also, read the blog. I offer a whole of me in this blog.
  • Q. Why are so many of your posts ‘uncategorized’?
    • A. Because I friggin’ hate categories. Every time I try and sit down to put my stuff into categories, I want to scream. Some things have no natural category. Some have multiple categories. All these posts are so random. There’s no way I’m ever going to really categorize. So I use a couple categories for series that I run and for memes I participate in.
  • Q. How about tags? Are you using them?
    • A. Nope. Hate them too. Just search on the word you’re looking for from the sidebar. You’ll find what you need.
  • Q. Will you do the meme I tagged you for?
    • A. NO. I will not. Next question.
  • Q. What’s with the weird faces next to the names in your comments?
    • A. In an attempt to jazz up the comments, I use one of two plugins, at any given time, that give every commenter an avatar. One is Wavatar and that will show a random pastel-colored geometric shape with a facial expression. The other, MonsterID, will show a random monster. The avatar is linked to your email, so if you comment on multiple posts, the avatar won’t change. If you hate the one it gave, go register at Gravatar and upload your own image. That will override both plugins.
  • Q. What is NSFW mean and why do I see it sometimes here?
    • A. It means ‘not safe for work’ and it usually means that whatever it references could get you into trouble with your boss if they caught you looking at it. Around here, it also means please make sure the kids aren’t around if you’re going to look. I don’t show anything pornographic here, but the occasional racy picture has been seen. But I’ll always try to give you fair warning.
