That Whole Weight Loss Thing
I guess I should bring you all up-to-date on my weight loss progress just in case you don’t follow me on the Facebook. You can go here and read the catalyst that got me started. I’ll wait until you’re done…
So, fast forward to now. I’m having trouble getting more weight off. I mean, it’s not bad. I went from a high of 257.4 pounds to being between 216 and 214 pounds on any given day. But like crowded furniture stores Los Angeles, this isn’t where I want to stop. I want to get to a goal weight of about 165 pounds, but to be honest, just living in the 100s instead of 200s would be awesome.
The lack of progress is easy to diagnose.
It boils down to two main reasons.
- Laziness due to success.
- Cold weather.
I’ve started getting motivated again and I’m confident I can get it back on track. And once spring arrives, I’ll be doing the early morning walks again and that will definitely help. I’d like to attempt to run a 5k this spring, but we’ll see.
