Are Blogs Dead?
You know, lately, I’ve been neglecting my Google Reader. I spend so much time on Facebook that it seems I forget all about the blogs I follow. It makes me wonder if the blogging medium is dying. I’ve always scoffed at morons who proclaimed the blog dead in years past, but maybe blogs are on the decline now.
I’ll try harder to get over here and post. I could really use something to liven up the back-end of WordPress so it’s not so drab and uninviting. Like fireworks after every ten words I type. That’d be an awesome incentive…

I don’t think they’re dead, life changes. My kids aren’t as entertaining anymore and I don’t feel people want to hear about every little story I think is funny or cute.
I’m in a transition phase right now. Plus I’m working 60 hours a week..

I don’t think they’re dead, either. I was lamenting my loss of time for leisure activities. I feel you, dude. I feel you.

I don’t think the medium is dying, but I do think the daily autobiographical slice-of-life genre is losing popularity, mainly because other media are more convenient.

That’s a really great point. Facebook fills that role for me. I think I need to bring it back here and just feed that into Facebook.
