I am absolutely STOKED to learn that Steve Perry, former lead singer of Journey, has announced he is running for President! Hell yes! This is awesome! More awesome than good term life insurance rates? Yes, more awesome! If you want somebody to turn this country around, this is THE MAN to do it. He’ll be lovin’, touchin’ and squeezin’ this economy back to pure awesome in no time.

I’m sorry. I’ve just been told that Rick Perry, the governor of Texas, has announced his candidacy and that Steve Perry is not, in fact, running for this office.

Really? Another idiot governor from Texas? The country isn’t fixed from that last good ‘ole boy and we’re thinking maybe we should let another Texan ride the country hard and put it away wet?

God, I’m hoping the Mayans were right after all.
Maybe Steve will still run…please…

I know. I’ve haven’t blogged in awhile. It’s not because I don’t love you; I’ve just been really busy. But I’m here now, so let’s get down to it.

Tomorrow is huge. Mailing out baby shower invitations? Nope. I’m going to WordCamp! WordCamp Saint Louis, specifically. It’s a one-day conference dedicated to WordPress, the blogging software I love and use right here at Patrick Says!
