The New Support Page…
If you visit this site directly as opposed to using a reader or through Facebook, you may have noticed a lot of shuffling around in the sidebar. The truth is that I would love to make a little money with this website. I realize I’m not going to get rich with this site, but I have decent traffic numbers and maybe I can cover hosting. But lately, the sidebar has just been getting too large.
So, I’m creating a separate support page. It’s a place where I can post affliate offers like maybe home cell booster thingies or pet medications or stuff. Also, if you’re going to shop Amazon, you can start there and then kick a little money back to the site here (at no cost to you). I may also throw a PayPal donate link in there as well.
All I’m asking is that every once in awhile, you go check out the page and see if anything interests you. I’ll rotate around offers and try to keep it fresh. Thanks.
UPDATE: Deleted. Never mind.

Whenever I hear someone ask for a tip, I remember an episode of Married with Children when some dude is dating Kelly. Al doesn’t like him of course. I guess he’s a delivery guy and the guy goes.. “What no tip?” So Al goes.. “Here’s a tip….”, grabs him by the back of the neck and slams his face into the door. “… doors are hard”

I love your indecision!

Why don’t you increase the width of the site to 1200 pixels? 85% of users view the site with devices set at 1280 pixel screen width and above. So, you’d have 50% more space for double column post widths and sidebar content. You can still stick to 65 characters to 75 characters per line by having 2 column posts. Just do a little css trick or the tried and tested old method of a two column table. Fifty percent of the screen width is wasted at the moment for more than 85% of your visitors.
You have some great content written is a personal style that attracts loyal visitors and, as time goes by, attracts organic search visitors.
Keep up the good work and best of luck in your monetization efforts.

Thanks, but I think I’m just giving up on monetizing this site.
