True Dat…

Before it even got really started, I’m going to have to abandon the tech blog. My plate is simply too full. With all my current obligations at home and at work, and as much as I want to, I can’t find the time to be a tech blogger.
I wish I had more time.
I simply don’t.
The posts that are over there aren’t that critical to anything in particular. I’ll delete them rather than import them over here. It’s always a pain in the butt getting the images to move. So, a moment of silence or something or pour some booze on the ground or smoke a cigar or whatever you do to mourn.
Goodbye, Patrick Talks Tech, we hardly knew ye.
So, a fellow blogger I read recently wrote a post about wanting people to comment and what it takes to get comments. What happened was the usual supportive comments, but also, some nasty comments toward the blogger. There was quite a bit of back and forth and people jumping in to take sides. It was kind of ugly and I’ll imagine unexpected for the blogger.
But that’s not my point.
My point is that if you dislike a blog so much, WHY are you still reading it? REALLY? If this blog here ever bores you or worse, makes you dislike me, then please, by all means, walk the f*** on. I write because I want to write. If you choose to read to learn more about me or get an occasional chuckle or a life nugget I poop out or get a link for special occasion dresses, then great.
But if no one read this blog but me, I would still write it.
(In fact, after this post, that may be the number of people reading it.
)
This is absolutely NSFW, but absolutely hilarious. The Lonely Island guys can seem to do no wrong by me. Amazingly catchy and funny songs, great cameos and team-ups with real musical artists…win-win-win.
Okay, don’t get your running shorts in a bunch. I’m here. It’s just been a very busy couple days. Anyway…
I’ve noticed something. With the proliferation of cleaning products on the market utilizing the ‘cleaning power of citrus’, I can’t eat foods flavored with orange or lemon, with a few exceptions. And this annoys me. I used to love these foods, but not anymore:
There are exceptions, notably the juices (orange juice and lemonade) and the actual fruits themselves. But otherwise, eating these foods make me feel like I just ate a meal of Pledge.
