Patrick Says

So, most of you know I fancy myself a writer.
I don’t produce a lot, but I hope to change that.

A couple weeks back, I was walking into the building at work. Two dragonflies were flying around me fast and furious, threatening several times to run into me. They were tearing around me like unemployed workers chasing airport jobs. I swatted at them, yelling, ‘hey, I don’t want to be in your dragonfly porno’.

And then I thought, ‘that would be an awesome name for a band…or a website’. A week later, I purchased dragonflyporno.com. I sat on the domain for close to a month. I just didn’t know what to do with it now that I had it. One idea was to make a more dude-friendly, R-rated Patrick Says. But ultimately, I opted against that. (That’s what Tumblr is for.)

And then it hit me.
A writing site.

A porno is a written work. Before it gets filmed, it is anyway. So, it kind of makes sense. Anyway, the site is up, but not yet launched. I’d like to have some content ready to go before I open it up. I do have a Twitter account for it and I encourage you to follow it to get updates when the new material publishes.
