Make Your Twitter Background Awesome…

If you’re a Twitter user, you’ve probably changed the background of your profile page numerous times trying to find something you really liked. I’ve seen a ton. Some of them worked and some of them are just awful. So, stumbling around my Twitter peeps pages, I came across @Krustythecat and she had a really cool background that had my picture (as well as others) on it.

The site is call Twilk. It creates a background for you that is comprised of the profile avatars of people you specify. You can choose people you follow, people who follow you, both or only people you follow who follow you back. I chose the last option. There are other options such as tilting the pictures (confetti) or just going black and white. It’s very neat.

Another cool feature (cool as in neat, not cool as in a place you might need glacier sunglasses) is that the people you mention the most go in the first two columns so it kind of rewards those you talk to and about. That’s probably the coolest feature. And since you can re-run it whenever you feel like, you can periodically change it to reflect different people coming and going in your stream.

Check my Twitter profile to see if you made the cut. (Or just look over the picture in this post.) Also, per Joanna’s (@Krustythecat) request, you can read her sites at One Krusty Mama and I’m Not That Mom.

I’m unfollowing you. My picture isn’t there. BAH.

Look on my Twitter profile, Wendy. You’re first column, eighth down. Trust me, you’d be there.
