Contrary to what today is and the title of this post is, this post is not, in fact, about Super Bowl commercials.

Since I’m pretty much broke all the time, we know I don’t have money for things like vacation rental property. But that certainly doesn’t mean I can’t watch (and review) a commercial for them. Check this out:

I know as much about vacation rental commercials as I do about vacation rentals, but it seems funny. The green underwear is a nice touch. The message is pretty well-delivered. I know if I ever get a vacation, I’d much rather be in something bigger than a total room. Some of the rooms I’ve stayed in were so small, they gave me claustrophobia. You know what I mean? It’s like there’s the sink and turn around and there’s the bed.

So, my point is, why not check out Vacation Rental.org?

Parents out there know that kids change everything. You go from living in an apartment and driving a Dodge Shadow to comparing mortgage insurance rates in a school district you like and driving a minivan. But there are other more subtles changes that take place.

For example, if I said to you, finish this phrase: ‘Boom boom boom…’, you could answer two ways right off the top of my head. If you are about my age, give or take ten years, and have no kids, you probably starting singing: ‘…let’s go back to my room!’

BUT…if you have kids and you’ve been reading a lot of books to them, you may well have said: ‘MR. BROWN IS THUNDER!’

See…subtle changes.

And now, a word, oh, you know.

If you’re looking to get a college degree these days, things are a lot different than they were in your moms day. Nowadays, there are online degree programs that have changed college entirely. While the traditional four-year university is still a standard, some people just can’t make that happen. Full-time jobs, kids and commitments pull at many of us all the time. It’s hard to find the time.

That’s the beauty of online universities.

It’s learning on your schedule. Although I have not attended Western Governors University, I did attend another ‘nationally-known’ online university. The experience is intense, but very accommodating for those with really busy schedules. It’s definitely worth a look if the only thing holding you back is your schedule. Go for it, dude.

Some of you know I use my blog to make some ‘extra’ funds. Well, for many months, that avenue of raising money had dried up. Just nothing coming down the pipe. I logged in this morning and my cup, apparently, is running-eth over-eth.

So, Daddy needs to do more posting.
A lot more posting.

But I’m dry on content. Which is where you come in. I’d like you to ask me questions that you think would make for interesting subject matter. They could be intensely personal, like about a belief or something. They could be general questions, like about wireless security systems, for example. Or they could be just plain silly.
