Kids Change Everything…
Parents out there know that kids change everything. You go from living in an apartment and driving a Dodge Shadow to comparing mortgage insurance rates in a school district you like and driving a minivan. But there are other more subtles changes that take place.
For example, if I said to you, finish this phrase: ‘Boom boom boom…’, you could answer two ways right off the top of my head. If you are about my age, give or take ten years, and have no kids, you probably starting singing: ‘…let’s go back to my room!’
BUT…if you have kids and you’ve been reading a lot of books to them, you may well have said: ‘MR. BROWN IS THUNDER!’

See…subtle changes.

I think I’m 15 years or so younger than you, but I remember that song! Now I can’t get it out of my head…

Thank you for reminding me how painfully old I am.

And here I came up with Black Eyed Peas…but still on the music theme.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen or even heard of that Seuss book. Weird.
