I Can Disagree, Even With Those I Support…
President Obama,
I question sending more troops to Afghanistan.
I’m not sure that we should still be there at all.
That’s all I got right now.

Ok, why shouldn’t we be? Should we not be pursuing Bin Laden and those who were behind 9/11?
Not trying to pick a fight, I’m genuinely interested in your perspective.

I don’t genuinely believe we have any chance of finding Osama Bin Laden. But more than that, I don’t really care about the Afghan people. That’s not entirely true. I just don’t think the lives of our soldiers are worth helping other people in a foreign country have a better life. There are plenty of sh*tholes in the world we aren’t helping. Why sacrifice our sons and daughters for a country that has been in a state of war since time began?
Or something.

I just say one word, war is wrong.

@ralph I would have to disagree with that statement. When people say ‘war doesn’t solve anything’, I point to WWII and asked if we should have just ‘reasoned’ with Adolf Hitler. Clearly, war is an option, but one has to know and believe in what you are fighting for. In this war, I’m not sure we even know the end we’re trying to get to.
