Chatting In The Dark…

While the government debates affordable health insurance for everyone, I thought I’d take something a little lighter for today’s post.

I found a very odd website. It’s called Omegle. Follow along on this one. The site pairs you up with another user in a chat room. No identifying details are provided, although clearly, you can provide your own. But the idea is that you have a conversation with a complete stranger.

This is as odd as it sounds.

I tried it a couple times and really, I guess I’m not much of a conversationalist because it got dull fast. Not that the site doesn’t have it uses. I suppose it’d be good for cybersex if that’s your bag. Or if you really wanted to open up to someone, but felt like you couldn’t, this site might be the thing.
