Oops…I Tweeted…
- Apparently, Dell will approve ANYONE for financing. I should order quick before they figure out who they approved… #
- Really, is there any reason to own a desktop PC still? I'm actually asking. Give me some reasons. I'm thinking of going just a house laptop. #

Be careful if you order from Dell and use their financing. A friend told me that their financing is run by Citibank, and they are the epitome of evil. For one thing, they also own Sears charge accounts, and they just increased our interest big-time, even though we pay on time every month. They increased the interest on my friend’s Dell account, as well.
Also, if something happens and you can’t make payments, Citibank will make your life a living hell. Several years back, hubby was working for a deadbeat who only paid people when he felt like it. So money was VERY tight. However, all of our creditors were nice and willing to work with us, except for Citibank. They didn’t own the Sears cards at that time, but we used to have an AT&T Universal Visa, which Citibank bought out.
They called at all hours, at home and at Mike’s work, even though they aren’t supposed to. They actually told him to go and get a job flipping burgers in order to pay the bill off…as if we could live on minimum wage any better than we could live on getting sporadic paychecks.
I know you’re having a hard time financially, and that’s why I felt the need to advise you against going into any debt at all with Citibank. Miss a payment or two, and they’ll make life even worse for you.
