The Urge Is Back…

I’m getting that urge again. You know the one? The one where I need to change the theme on this blog. I’ve been using this one for a very long time. And I still like it. The simple, minimalist nature suits me.

But then again…

I just want to jazz it up. Add some color and cool bells and whistles. But I’m also fully aware that the whole idea of ‘branding’ is to keep something the same to build it as your identity. And while I have a small following at best, I don’t want to maliciously rearrange their environment without good reason.

So, I think I’ll stick with this theme. Fight the urge, man!

    I say take the existing theme and re-work it. Pick a new header image, change the font, the colors, and bam, you’re good to go! :)

    i find just rearranging the sidebar and changing the image usually takes care of that urge. or at least, i run out of stem before i get to the header and page arrangement.
