How Was Your Fourth?

This isn’t going to be a deep post. Nothing about mesothelioma lawyers or the ramifications of nurture versus nature. Nope. This post is just about the holiday today. So, what’d you do?

I had some family over and we had a barbecue and blew up some fireworks. We visited with our neighbors across the street and watched the people on our street blow stuff up. It was a good time. The kids got to stay up to 10pm, which is way past their bedtime.

But overall, it was a good day. And we don’t get enough of those.

    Glad to hear it…you all definitely needed a good day! Our was nice too, lots of family/friends time, food and fireworks! :)

    Sounds like great day!

    Ours? Well, our 3rd was nice. Our 4th, Em woke up with a high fever, and we’ve spent the last day and a half trying to get it down, make her feel better, and avoid the ER. :-) But we were all together, all three of us, and that was very very nice.

    Eddie and I sort of lazed around during the day while the Husband worked, then we had hot dogs for dinner and went to some friends house, and walked up to see the fireworks. Good day.

    Dave and I went to his parents lake house. Did nothing most of the weekend. I don’t get enough of those.
