Which is approximately one full day of outage per year. If they can't guarantee that, then they're probably running a pile of old towers in a former supply closet and should be avoided. Of course, in that case, they'd probably still throw the 99.99% figure out there and then act surprised when you tell them that you've observed 95% uptime. What would I like in a host? I desire free MySQL. I don't have to worry about #3 because I have 24/7 call in support! Godaddy sucks if you go anything below the VD accounts. They have free hosting but the entire header of your website is a large ad. The support for the VD accounts isn't very good! It's very limited. It's odd with Godaddy the more you pay the less support is offered.
