More Talk About The PPP…
First things first, this post is sponsored by PayPerPost.
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s move on. I’ve been testing PayPerPost v4.0 since it went alpha. The model for v4.0 is very different than previous PayPerPost models. In the past, they’ve been heavily involved in most of the aspects of sponsored posts. But in v4.0, they play more of a middleman than an administrator. It’s nice.
Advertisers solicit bloggers for sponsored posts. Bloggers have way more control than they had in previous experiences. They can specify price, follow versus no-follow links, how to disclose. Everything is laid out right at the front. There aren’t any interstitial ads, tracking cookies, et cetera. It’s very simple and plainly laid out.
So, anyway, they asked me to post that the system is now ‘live’. I’m going to assume that means they are opening to a wider audience. Which is really needed. I’m not complaining, but in alpha, the opps have been pretty light. And mostly just from the PPP folks themselves. I did notice that since they went live, I’ve gotten an offer from a company other than PPP. (That post will be coming up tomorrow.)
So, if you’re a blogger trying to make a little dough with your blog, why not give the new PPP a try. What have you got to lose? It’s absolutely voluntary and if you don’t like the opp, you’re not obligated to do it. It’s a win-win. Anyway…if you’re interested.

I’m still on the fence about this. Of course, I’d like to make money via something I’m already doing… but I don’t blog a lot (lately, but maybe that will change now that my life is moving in the right direction) and I’m not too popular, so I can’t see that I’ll even make a profit.
