I was ready to be done with blogging this weekend. And yes, I know I’ve said that before. But this time was really it. I guess I just got overcome with everything around me. It’s been…rough…around here lately.

I know…this is the worst humor blog ever.

But getting back to me, it’s been hard keeping it all together lately. I’ve been yelling more than I like to. I feel pretty much swamped everywhere. I hate this house. The yards all need severe work.

But I’ve decided to keep blogging. It’s an outlet for me. I’ll get the humor back at some point. Heck, maybe next post even.

There are a lot of websites and blogs out there. Many of them cover tired subjects like conversion rate optimization and monetizing your site and stuff like that.

I am not one of those sites.

Lately, I haven’t blogged much. I apologize for that. Every so often, regular life kicks your butt around the room. The last couple weeks have been like that. I hope to get it back on track soon.

So, I said ‘Statement Of Purpose’ was the title of this post. Maybe I need to make a declaration. Maybe that will light the fire to get me inspired. Because lately, I’ve been having a hard time finding the inspiration. Here goes.

I don’t blog to make friends. I don’t blog to tell you what I had for lunch. If I ever do, you have my permission to punch me square in the face. I blog to say what I feel and throw it into the cosmos, consequence be damned.

There it is. Let’s see where it goes next.

Also, I feel a theme change coming. I love White As Milk, but it’s been on here for a very long time.

It’s been a long time since I was really psyched for a kids movie. I want to say the last time was ‘Finding Nemo’, which I still love. That movie is amazing with the levels. My kids enjoy it and there’s stuff to keep grownups interested as well.

The other day, Skippy was watching Patek Philippe, no wait, it was ‘Phineas & Ferb’ and they had a preview for ‘Up’. I watched it and was blown away. It looks really good. Kind of an ‘Around The World In 80 Days’ feel to it. Anyway, here’s the trailer.

Wow. Good one. You know, as I type this, I’m still struggling for an answer. Well, the truth is that I haven’t read enough books to find a character that I can relate to. I’ve only recently regained the love of books.

I will honestly have to get back to you on this one when I come across the book that has a character I can relate to.

I haven’t mentioned this on my blog, but I have been hosting a podcast. It’s for the Saint Louis Bloggers Guild, of which I am a member. It’s a thirty minute weekly discussion of articles and posts we find about blogging and the blogosphere (yes, I know we hate that word). We’re still figuring it out, but please check it out.
