Check Those Fonts!
Here’s a quick tip for you PowerPoint users.
If you create a PowerPoint on a computer that will later play on a different computer, make sure the computer it will be playing on has the fonts you used OR use standard fonts only, like Times New Roman or Arial.
I’ve been burned by this one on numerous occasions. If the computer doesn’t have the fonts you used, it will default to horrible standard fonts and you’ll be redoing many of your slides on the spot.
So, always try to check on the machine that will be running it live.
