Remembering John Lennon…
I remember my mom waking me to tell me John had been shot on this date in 1980. I was eleven. She knew he was my favorite Beatle, more than that, he was my hero.
It’s hard to imagine how much you can be influenced by a band that broke up when you were one year old, but the Beatles are the foundation of music for me.
