Crying Kids Are Still Funny…
If you’ve known me for a long time, you’d know that back when I was single, I used to love watching the Little League World Series. But not for the reason you’d think.
No, it’s for the crying.
See, when kids cry, it’s hilarious. Now I’m not talking about a kid who just broke his arm and there’s blood and stuff. Or when there’s actual danger. I’m not that big an a-hole. I’m talking about that ‘things are just not going my way’ crying. That, my friends, is pure hilarity.
And I’m not the only one, as evidenced by Mamalogues finding this gem. Apparently, these girls were big David Archuleta fans. The meltdowns are awesome…I mean fall off bar stools awesome.
So, I thought my view of kids crying would change when I had kids.
It hasn’t. It’s still funny.

Wow! Yeah, thats funny. I am also a fan of the crying kid. I try to only laugh at mine, so as to not upset any parents. But, if I can do it without being seen, Im all over it. Although, I have had a few good laughs at your kids, too!

Oh man, I love a good cryin’ fit….as long as I don’t have to be the adult on duty, that is. Sometimes they just get themselves all worked up and can’t bring it back to reality, it’s so funny!

I agree. My wife and I seriously have to restrain ourselves when our kids cry for silly reasons.
It’s that or get mad, I guess. Laughing is better.

Laughing as the additional potential benefit of making the child see the ridiculousness of the crying. Of course, that can backfire and make the kid actually worse.
