You Can Be TOO Old To Rock…
Yesterday, I was driving home from somewhere or other and on the sidewalk, I saw a woman. She was wearing an AC/DC T-shirt. And she was in her forties.
WHAT??? Are you kidding me, lady?
You’re in your forties and wearing a shirt that a thirteen-year-old boy would wear. Seriously. Do you think somewhere there is a thirteen-year-old boy wearing a Precious Moments sweatshirt because the bears ‘are so gosh darn cute’, because if there is, that kid has ‘issues’, which by extension, you also have.
Take off that ridiculous shirt. You might be able to pull of something in a nice Disney apparel item, but no AC/DC for you.

But AC/DC was HUGE when that lady was a teenager. If she loved them back in the day, I have no issue with it. If she just likes their Wal-mart exclusive album, not cool.

Hey now, I’m with Tina. AC/DC is old. I wonder about young kids wearing their tees.

If this lady wasn’t rockin’ out to AC/DC when she was a teen, the teens today wouldn’t be rockin’ out to them today.
Oh yeah, and we live in MISSOURI where people still wear Def Leppard shirts. Sheesh.

If AC/DC was one of my bands, I’d wear the shirt and I’m 32. But I still rock to Motley Crue, Def Leppard - and I even rock to newer bands like Hinder, Godsmack, and Sixx: AM. You’re NEVER too old to rock because you’re really only as old as you feel!

You should have seen the crowd at the Poison concert I went to a few years ago. I am not joking - the woman in front of us took her shirt of and the people who turned around and saw her started chanting “Put it back on!” Yeah. There were guys with gray, thinning mullets wearing their 80’s concert tees stretched across twenty years of additional beer drinking.

Oh, Patrick, you are NEVER too old to rock! That lad should be proud of still loving music. Just today someone told me that I shouldn’t go to concerts because that’s what you do with your girlfriend, not your wife. I was too old to go to concerts! I was like, excuse me?
No one should ever be wearing a Precious Moments t shirt.
Oh my God, these are the battle lines, aren’t they?

WOW! You people went crazy on this post. They’re just jokes, don’t get offended. Maybe it was just laundry day for forty-something woman!

I still attend LOTS of concerts and wear my t-shirts proudly! As a matter of fact, we have tickets for AC/DC this January. I also went to Poison and Rush this summer…and saw Bon Jovi in the spring. Any time Def Leppard is in town we hit them too. Oh Yeah!
I also love classical and country. There’s still nothing quite like a rock concert though!

I’m 35 and I still have my Ramones tee shirt, but I try to wear it with enough ironic distance.
