Geek License Plates…

I had an idea the other day while driving to work. So, people have personalized license plates. Some choose their name; others choose coded sentences (10S NE1). My idea? Ready?

HTML color codes.

HOW AWESOMELY GEEKY IS THAT? Think about it. Only the uber-geeks are going to have any idea what it means. Everyone will be SCRAMBLING to figure out what that plate meant. And like, cell phone repeaters, the possibilities are endless. Let’s go over some:

000 000 – Pearl Jam fan
00F F00 – For a banker or economist
FFF F00 – Coldplay fan
FF0 000 – For USSR enthusiast or Communist
FFF FFF – White supremacist (it’s a joke, people)

And it goes on. Have an idea for a code you’d like? Add it in the comments…and then go get it at your local DMV (I imagine there are some fees, but that’s not my problem). W00t.
