I’m All Over The Place…
I read a lot of stuff online. Frequently, I’ll bookmark something I want to come back to or post about on this here blog. I have a couple of these and I thought I’d just throw them out in one post. Think of it as pot luck for blogging.
Can One Man Change The World?
I’ve seen this video making the rounds. Matt is this guy who decided to travel the world and dance. He did this a few years back and apparently again in 2008, he traveled the world. Watch the video and then I’ll give you my thoughts.
There’s a couple ways to go with this video. It’s funny. But deeper than that, it’s very cool. It’s actually inspirational at some point. There’s this one guy going around the world showing people that we are all people. Politics and religion make us all get this ‘I hate you, you hate me’ mindset. But for just 4:29, we’re all just people dancing. Can one man change the world? Maybe…if even just a little bit.
(My favorite part of the video? With the women in India at about 2:37 seconds. Awesome, Matt. Truly awesome.)
Not A Big A Douchebag As Bobby Flay, But Maybe
Found this one originally over at NS4W.ORG and it is awesome. The back story is that Olga was out with her girlfriends, talked to this Dmitri guy and gave him her card. What follows are his voicemails. If these are real, this guy is a complete jackass. If they’re fake, it’s pure genius.

Mister Microphone? Hell’s yeah!

I love this post! Let’s start at the top:
I enjoyed the dancing video a great deal. I wasn’t sure where they were going with it at first when he was dancing alone but it shaped up to be, like you said, almost inspirational! (On a side note, politics and religion are easy for people to lump together but not all religions express hate. Many more factors, like racism attribute to “I hate you, you hate me” issues.”
The guy in the second one, may in fact be Bobby Flay! LOL I can’t blame the lady for not calling even after the first message. Then after the second one, who could live up to those standards? What a nut LOL
I’m digging this last video, I think my favorite was the groovy guy walking and singing at the same time with the radio on his shoulder, yeah! I remember those days!

Oooh! my favorite part was the Indian ladies too – very awesome video (that i actually hadn’t seen before). Thanks for sharing that.
#2 – what a nutcase. Say no more.
Mr. Microphone…ah, now everyone just carries around cell phones. At least they’re smaller (only require one hand – or bluetooth!), but you can still hear the jerk on this end talking at about that volume.

The dance video was very moving! I was wondering how he could afford such a project and saw that Stride…is that gum?…sponsored him. Nice!
