I’ve found that when someone tells you that ‘possession is nine-tenths of the law’, that person has probably stolen whatever it is they are talking about. Honest people have no use for that phrase.
But that’s just my experience…

True that.
I’ve found that when people leave anonymous comments on my blog, they are usually just trying to rattle me.

Very good point — I have to say I agree!

I was sorely tempted last week to use that. A former co-worker lent us a crib. We had arranged to drop it back off to them earlier this year, but those plans fell through. We determined that there was no need for it back at the co-workers house so an indefinite loan period was okayed (agreeing that it could be next January when we could get it to them). You see, they now live 200 miles away. So, when I got a very nasty email and phone call saying they needed it ASAP (like that weekend, and this was a Friday) I was pretty ticked. Not that they needed it for themselves…noooooo…a friend of theirs was having their baby and they are now loaning it to her. NOT - MY - PROBLEM.
Turns out, though, I’m too nice and my husband drove it all the way there for them the following week. You wouldn’t believe the nastiness I had to deal with though and all because it took us a few days to rearrange OUR lives to accommodate THEM.
