Good grief. See why I hate people. Get a 6 foot by 6 foot poster of your naked ass and display it prominently in your front yard. Perhaps with the note, "Thanks for your letter".

First, do you live in a neighborhood with a homeowners association and covenants?
Second, unless they are trying to sell their house or getting ready to sell their house, then who pee'd in their wheatys?

I say you give them the big finger by investing in a couple dozen pink flamingos, chaining a few mangy dogs up in the front yard and for bonus points, park a small trailer home in the driveway and invite the nudist colony over for week-night barbecues!

I think they should move on if they aren't happy with the way other people are in the neighborhood. Maybe they should move out to the country where they don't have to see anything offensive because they are back up in the woods. If I remember correctly, you don't have a subdivision committee or anything like that, so they can complain and baulk all they want. I couldn't agree with you more about sending out a letter of complaint with so many blatant typos...they have to know people are just laughing at them instead of taking their concerns to heart. You will never win out a point by being condescending and critical and judgmental. Instead they could have written a nice note about everyone chipping in a little extra effort to clean up yards and such in an effort to restore property values and taking pride in your homes that you all work so hard to maintain...or something like that. Other than that, it's no one's business if someone needs to park their boat off to the side of their own driveway. Seriously.

Wow. I like that last bit about asking people to MOVE ON!!!!! with 5 !!!!!

Do you live in St. Charles? For some reason this strikes me as a St. Charles letter.

On a more serious note, that's ridiculous. Does your subdivision hold monthly meetings or anything to go to?
