No More Paid Blogging…
A lot of you know that I wasn’t really all that happy doing paid blogging. There are a lot of reasons and thoughts I have on that whole thing, but ultimately, I felt like I was cheapening my blog by doing it. If you do it, I’m not judging. Everyone has to do what they think is best.
While I really do need the money, I made the decision to stop doing paid blogging and concentrate on my writing. I’ll find other sources of income to make up for it. Hell, buy something from Amazon using one of my links if you’d like to help.
But the writing will be unrestricted and influenced only by the craziness in my head.

Personally, I think that’s a great choice. I decided a long time ago not to do paid blogging, even though the thought of the extra spending cash is nice. It seems to turn readers off, as well as make them weary of reading your blog, so I think you made the right choice.

Once again, I think it’s important to say that I’m not criticizing those who do paid blogging. But I feel it’s disingenuous to flow PageRank for money and then get upset when Google penalizes a site for it.
But every person is entitled to do what they want on their site.

Reps to you for not selling out to just money like a lot of bloggers are. The money will come with good content, ultimately. If you really need the money you should do affiliate marketing with products you really would recommend, not just amazon.
