Battle Of The X-Men
In battle #2, it’s Rogue versus Storm. Both mutants, both possible patron saint for this blog.
Storm, born Ororo Munroe, hails from Egypt. Taken in by Professor Xavier, she rose through the ranks to lead the X-Men on many, many missions. Her ability to control the weather is matched only by her ability to control her emotions. Often times, her current emotional state is echoed in the weather around her.
Rogue, the Southern belle from the…uh…South, started her career on the wrong side of the law. When Mystique couldn’t help her control her power, she sought out Professor Xavier. She became an X-Man and served alongside Storm for many years. One touch and she absorbs the memories and powers of whomever she touches, but with a cost, her fragile hold on sanity.

Rogue looks more ‘street’.

If that’s true, then it’s completely the opposite of reality, well comic book reality. Storm grew up in Egypt and as a child, was employed as a thief and a pickpocket. She has far more ‘street cred’ than Rogue.
