Although I’m curious, didn’t you divulge anything with your friends? Are you certain they all ran?

It seems everyone has had an experience like this, relatively speaking. Some weird awakening early in life. The best you can hope is that it doesn’t scar you. Fortunately, mine didn’t.

I love this post! I had a similar experience with my friend down the street Brian’s two older teenage twin sisters. We were all getting ready to go swimming and they were changing in the dining room with the door closed, but we were peeking through the folding doors from the living room. I’m sure they wouldn’t have been very happy knowing we saw them though. But I remember thinking, wow, cool! This was right around the early 80’s or so. Very well written post!

Obviously, the girls in Saint Louis in the 70’s were a lot easier than the girls in your part of the world.

I have a similar memory involving my babysitter’s bikini top coming off in the pool while rough-housing with one of her guy friends, probably because it was the first woman boob I’d seen, like, ever. (We’re not really a naked family and the very few times I’ve seen any family members it’s been traumatizing.) However, the babysitter did not offer to let me touch it.

That was actually cute. Well, maybe “cute” is the wrong word.
But honest, real and full of nostalgia is what it is.

I almost felt as if I was in that yard with you.
Regardless of our situations in life as adults, I believe we all have similar experiences during childhood.

And I couldn’t actually believe that anyone could find that disturbing, unless they’re very very fragile.
