Good Riddance, Amanda…

So, apparently ABC has let Amanda Congdon go after a year of working together. That’s at least double what I thought she would last. For those not in the know, Amanda was the host of a fairly successful video podcast called ‘Rocketboom’. She left that podcast in search of fame and fortune.

Here’s my beef with Ms. Congdon. Everyone seemed to think she was so freakin’ hot, but really, she wasn’t. I imagine that in her head, she was drop dead gorgeous and Internet geeks love girls with any tech pedigree, so you know they helped build that image in her head. But my experience watching her was that she was unbelievably pretentious and so ‘I’m much more important than you’ that I couldn’t take more than ten minutes of her.

    I’ve never heard of her…but I’ll take your word on it.

    By the way, do you choose your words to prove that you’re not human? You have to…or the powers that be have a weird sense of humor having me type in the word “liberal.”

    I’m just saying. :)
