Stickers…
My son is in the middle of potty training. He’s doing great, but with some accidents along the way. It happens. But when he does well, he gets rewarded. Peeing will net him one sticker on the door (it’s a piece of cardboard on the door). Dropping a deuce will get you a big Spiderman sticker for said door.
But my point, and I have one, is that as adults, we never give each other enough stickers. And by stickers, I mean credit. I’m guilty of it. And so are you. Take the time to give someone their propers for something they did well. It’s take nothing, but ultimately, it builds loyalty and strengthens friendships.
And that’s one to grow on…

I remember those short segments, although they didn’t seem quite as dorky then
Here’s your sticker, Patrick. For doing a great job on your blog!

You know, just today my husband noted that HE doesn’t get candy for going pee pee on the potty, and it doesn’t seem fair that our son does, even when he didn’t know exactly what he managed to do. Guess I should put a candy jar in the bathroom for us all.
