The Morning After…
Thoughts on my first Internet radio show:
- The show went pretty well. I fumbled here and there, but otherwise kept it together okay.
- I had a blast interacting with the chat room even though it does get a little distracting.
- I was disappointed by a lot of people who assured me they would listen, but then either didn’t listen or didn’t give me any feedback, good, bad or otherwise.
- There’s a point where I thought it was all stupid and pompous, but then I would just remember that I’m doing this mostly for me. Because it’s fun.
I’ll be back next week, Thursdays at 11pm EST.

Did I say I’d listen? If I did, I’m sorry because I knew I’d be out all day and evening and also knew I didn’t have the iTunes player downloaded at home yet and all that either. I certainly wanted to be listening, I thought of you several times during the 10-midnight hours here in CST. I did turn on my computer last night, but was only on for a few min. I had to help momma learn to use my old camera and such, so I wasn’t able to listen. I consider it my loss, because I really enjoyed the previous broadcast that I did hear! Don’t worry, just like blogging, you will get an audience before you know it, if you just keep at it. I support you, even if I wasn’t listening last night!

I’m going to listen, just in the middle of moving into a new place … but I’ll be there for you next week. I’m glad to hear it went well.

Dude, that’s midnight on the east coast! Do they have a rebroadcast of it?
