The Ventriloquist & The Dummy…
This rant by Keith Olbermann is long, but well worth it. The act of George Bush commuting Libby’s sentence is one of the most disgusting acts of this administration. We, as a people, should be outraged. We should be chasing Mr. Bush and his people out of the White House with brooms and calling for the election of new leaders. George Bush has finalized his legacy as one of the worst Presidents in the history of our great land.
Does anyone remember when George Bush told us that if there was a leak in his administration, they would be held accountable to the laws of this land? HE LIED.

Sure, it’s very disappointing, but can we say we’re surprised? Didn’t Clinton pull the same junk when he was on his way out? Unfortunately I don’t think we can expect much integrity from our Presidents, Republican or Democrat.

Surprised? No. Disappointed? Yes.
This is the guy who was going to ‘restore integrity to the White House.’ Turns out he doesn’t have any.
And sadly, yes, we really can’t expect much integrity from any politician.

Thanks for posting that I didn’t see that yet.
It is just par for the course at this point. Even if we had someone in the white house that did act somewhat morally, the slightest thing would be bent and twisted by the press or their opposition to turn it into a sandal. It is the current climate we live in… No matter side of the aisle you are on.
