Haven’t done one of these in quite awhile. Why not?

Appetizer
What is your usual bedtime? Do you like that, or would you rather it be different?
Usually somewhere between midnight and 2am. I wish it was earlier, but there are literally not enough hours in the day.

Soup
When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more?
I think it’s pretty even. People ask me tech advice all the time and other regular people stuff as well. But I often seek the council of my friends as well.

Salad
Describe a memorable meal you’ve had.
My wife and I ate an exquisite meal in an Italian restaurant at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas in 2003. I had amazing tortellini and I think she ate lasagna. The tortellini was good and I’ve been to Italy. (I’m fairly certain it was 2003; she was pregnant with our first and it was September.)

Main Course
Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.
I want to say the movie ‘Glory’, but it’s not a work of fiction. I remember seeing that movie and just being awestruck at these men who fought for our country that barely tolerated them. They gave their lives for a cause they believed in. That’s an amazing thing. We all ‘say’ we’d die for something we believe in, but how many of us are ready to actually brave the gunfire and face insurmountable odds right now.

So, for a fictional work, I’d say ‘The Empire Strikes Back’. It was the introduction of the greatest mentor ever, Yoda.

Dessert
What is your favorite type of fruit juice?
Probably orange juice. The acid fights back later, but I do love me some orange juice.
