First Loves…

I was surfing the other day and stumbled across something or other about first loves. Who were mine? Easy. Martha Quinn (not pictured) and Storm of the X-Men. There were several versions of Storm through the years. This is old school Storm and the one I knew best (I can’t explain the brightness of the picture).

This is a newer version by Jim Lee (I think). There was also a mohawk phase Storm went through. For the record, I never cared that much for Halle Berry as Storm. She was adequate, but I would have preferred someone else (but not Grace Jones as people suggested back in the 90s).

   This should be embarrassing, but I love it - my first loves that I can remember as a child - Spock and Speed Racer. That’s right, Spock. I’ve always been attracted to intelligence, I guess. As for Speed, well come on - he’s SPEED RACER for crying out loud - how can you not want a piece of that?
