Patrick Says

In light of yesterday’s fake death (yes, it’s true…Dr. Holden Magrone was a made-up character), Pat Morita died today at the age of 73. Me and my friends will always remember Pat Morita for his portrayal of the second greatest mentor (first being Yoda) any boy could have…Mr. Miyagi in ‘The Karate Kid’. He taught us “paint the house”, “paint the fence” and “wax on, wax off”. Domo arigato, Mr. Miyagi, domo arigato.

My boy got this Leapfrog toy for Christmas last year and while playing with the alphabet sounds, I noticed something. If you try to make it say naughty words by combining the ‘f’ sound with the ‘k’ sound, for example, it giggles in between to prevent the Leapfrog from cursing. Geniuses! Here’s some samples of me trying to make it say some naughty words: ‘f’+'k’, ‘a’+’s’ and ‘f+a+g’.
